About Our Sacramento Drywall Company

No founding date, no review count, no wall of faces

You're here because you're deciding whether to call. So here's what we do, how we price it, and the things we'll not do at any price.

What This Sacramento Drywall Company Actually Is

Sacramento Expert Drywall is a drywall business working the Sacramento metro and the suburbs around it, and that's the whole of the description. We don't have a founding story worth your time, and the numbers other companies put on a page here are the easiest things in this trade to make up. What we can tell you is how the work runs, which is the part that actually affects you, and what has to be true before we'll give you a price.

Every job starts with somebody looking at the wall. Not a photo estimate presented as a price, not a range read off a list. Somebody stands in the room, works out what's actually happening, and tells you before any figure is discussed. That's slower than the alternative and it's why our quotes tend to survive contact with the job.

The estimate is free and it stays free whatever comes of it. You're not buying our time by having us out, and there's no version of this where a visit turns into a call-out fee because you decided not to proceed. If you want a second opinion on somebody else's quote, that's a perfectly good reason to have us come and look.

We work the whole metro: the city and the grid, the eastern suburbs from Carmichael across to Folsom, both sides of the river, and up into Placer County for Roseville and Rocklin. None of that is an out-of-area trip and none of it carries a surcharge for distance.

Sometimes the Best News Is That You Don't Need Us Yet

A good number of the walls we look at turn out to be fine. A crack that moves with the season wants a winter rather than a repair. Some are a builder's warranty claim, some are a drainage fix outside, some belong to a foundation contractor, and some are simply nothing at all.

You'll hear that at the estimate, while it can still save you money, rather than reading it on an invoice afterward. Finding out your wall is fine is a good morning, and it costs you nothing.

The same goes for the size of a job. If yours turns out smaller than you feared, that's what we'll tell you, and if four small repairs fit into one visit instead of three, that's what gets quoted. You should finish the call knowing more than when you picked up the phone, whether or not you book anything.

The other half of it is that this region needs two different trades. The pre-war grid is real plaster over wood lath, and everything built after the war is board. Plenty of outfits do one and price the other as though it were the same thing. We do both, and we'll tell you which one your house is before we quote it.

That matters more here than it would in most cities, because Sacramento genuinely has both in quantity. In a lot of markets the old stock is a handful of houses and can be ignored. Here it's a large part of the core. Treating it as an afterthought is how people end up with a modern flat patch set into a hundred-year-old wall, visible from the doorway forever.

Four Things You Can Count On, Every Job

Your wall gets looked at before it gets priced

A figure that holds comes off a wall somebody has stood in front of, and the visit that produces it is free.

You find out what caused it

Knowing that is what keeps a repair closed, so it comes before the work rather than after the invoice.

Your repair disappears into the wall

The finish takes most of the day on most jobs, because that's the half you'll be looking at for years.

You hear the whole answer

Including when it belongs to another trade, when it's nothing at all, and when the most useful thing we can do is point you elsewhere.

You get the same answer we would give a neighbor.
